Henri Werner is a Hanover-based electronic producer and alt-pop artist drawn to the darker side of love. His music lives somewhere between desire and destruction, blending cinematic shadows with intimate male vocals and that quiet tension you feel when someone gets too close.
He first gained attention on YouTube for the haunting and eerie soundscapes of tracks like “Impostor”. Taking cues from artists such as Sub Urban and Flume, Henri’s dark and melodic songs push the boundaries of pop and electronica, evolving over time into something deeper and more human—dark R&B edges, slow-burning bass, melancholic melodies and lyrics built for late nights, BookTok hearts and immersive listening.
Henri writes about control, devotion, and the soft violence of wanting someone too much. If his music feels like a confession or a warning, that’s intentional. Every track is meant to feel like a chapter from a story you shouldn’t be reading, but can’t put down.
At the age of six, Henri began playing piano and studied for 13 years, while also developing basic skills on guitar and drums. His formal music education started at Deutsche Pop, where he completed his diploma as an Audio Designer/Engineer in March 2018. In July 2019, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Technology, followed by a Master of Music in Electronic Music Composition at the University of West London in October 2020.
Adored by gamers and Gen Z creators alike, Henri’s music has appeared on numerous Spotify playlists and amassed over 30 million streams in total. He currently reaches over 232,000 monthly listeners and more than 15,500 followers on Spotify, with particularly strong audiences in London, Berlin, Brisbane, Sydney and Prague.
Henri Werner has been supported by well-known labels such as CloudKid, Magic Records and Trap Nation, and has released music on influential independent platforms including NCS, Unique Vibes, RisingWave, Gaming Playlist and 7clouds. With a steady output of new music and an anticipating audience, he continues to chase the same feeling—the moment where beauty and ruin touch.
If you’re here for the darker stuff, stay close. There’s more coming.
