One day in March 2022 with one of the daily Spotify updates my song “Impostor” has crushed the 1 million stream milestone. In March 2023 “Impostor has been streamed more than 2.3M times on Spotify. I wanted to take this as an opportunity to say thank you and tell you a bit about the story behind the song.
In December 2020 I created this song and pitched it to record labels. It received several rejections at first but eventually, on the 2nd day of Christmas, I signed my first label contract for “Impostor” with Monsterwolf Music. In January 2021 Cloudkid decided to upload “Impostor” on their YouTube channel with over 5 million subscribers.
Other big YouTube channels followed (RubyChan, Kurumi, Cassiopeia &more) Today “Impostor” has been saved to over 65K Spotify playlists.
One of my first song is being listened to, all over the world and it motivates me massively to compose and produce. I want to thank Monsterwolf Music for signing “Impostor“ and CloudKid for exposing my song to the amazing CloudKid fam and for adding it to their Spotify playlists.

This song is a very accessible mingle of trap and pop. It stands out in the trap genre with Mary`s stylish and kind of haunting vocal. The melodic arrangements build a nice sinister and mysterious atmophere that has a cool cinematic feel and nice soft oriental elements.
In 2019, I first heard Veda‘s song “Wicked Little Monster“ and was completely blown away. Since then, the song has never left my mind, so in February 2021, I started working on a remix of this song. Big thank you to Veda for this amazing opportunity and for supporting, and helping me throughout the process. The remix will be released on Gamingplaylist on the 02 July 2021.
