“Witchcraft” is the second track my EP “Siren”. The song thematises the witch-hunt. With this song Law said that she “made sure to stick to accurate facts of what some women were sentenced to in the past for such sorcery accusations. The instrumental for the song uses heavy trap-like 808’s in the verses & hooks and dives into a more cinematic pre-chorus.
“Murderer” is a hard hitting dark pop song with trap influences. The badass vocals are met with a strong melodic guitar motif and deep 808’s. The drops resonate the lyrics in an instrumental way, with shivering synths and uniquely designed sounds.
“Dungeons and Dragons” is the first song on my debut EP “Siren”. The song is about a vengeful princess and is overall not just cinematic and fairytale-like but also twisted and dark. The instrumental is very supportive of the vocal and full of cinematic as well as electronic and dark elements. It combines the organic verses with strings and piano with the more synthetic sounding drops. The vocal by Law. is throning on top of the epic atmosphere and delivers a beautiful introduction to the EP that quickly rises to an intense energy. Law’s lyrical genius, combined with the unique style of the song, makes this track a standout of the EP.
“Ruins” started out as an acoustic song posted on social media that many talented followers saw potential in, so Salvo decided to hold a production contest. After many submissions, Henri Werner was the winner! It will be self-released, and then hosted on electronic artist 3Lau’s Royal.io in a cutting edge investment program, alongside artists like Diplo, Tritonal, & Vérité. Fans can buy in for a percentage of the streaming royalties and share ownership. – Salvo
“Your Loss” is a song about a girl getting over a breakup, when her ex is already with a different girl. It depicts the early stages of her grief: sadness (“can’t keep on crying”), anger (“take a lighter to your things”), but also the confidence of knowing that it’s the guy’s loss. The line “I’d wish you well and tell you that I’ll miss you, but I’d be lying so I just dismiss you” shows her indifference and how she is over all of it.

I picked this song to cover because I felt that it fit mine and Salvo’s style super well. I wanted to keep the energy of the original, while using a more “toned down” instrumental, to underline the brooding, dark atmosphere.
“White Knight” is an energetic, warrior themed song. It’s about a person that feels like a White Knight jumping to peoples aid to be the hero. But is he really the hero or is there an ulterior motive for his seemingly selfless actions?
“Hall Of Hearts” is the second collaboration between Henri Werner hailing from Germany and Jersey City’s CRÈME. The song is a call and response between the velvety vocals of two lovers lost in separate notions of what their love for one another means. Henri Werner‘s unique, lilting guitars fill the song with a lush atmosphere of nostalgia and broken heartedness evoking midnight somewhere, outside heartbreak hotel. “Hall Of Hearts” is another unforgetable song for these two prolific artists. – CRÈME

“Favorite Little Toy” is a song about a manipulative relationship. The person being manipulated is described as the “favorite little toy”, “puppet without strings”, “lovely little muse” all kept within the playfully dark theme.
I’m bringing you my new song called “Prey”. I’m releasing this one with the label New Dawn Collective who are known for cinematic music, which this song definitely falls under. They are also creating some amazing visuals for it. “Henri Werner is at it again, releasing a haunting, intricate new single titled “Prey”. Aiming for dark, cinematic and powerful feel, he delivers such a lush and furtive instrumental that this focused reverie hits like a moment suspended, time frozen by the existential desperation of being the hunted.”- New Dawn Collective
“Buried Alive“ is a track about your inner demons taking over your consciousness. The demons can’t be escaped which manifests the devastation. The lyrics reference the story of Jekyll and Hyde where Dr. Jekyll is a “kindhearted doctor highly respected and successful“ and “Hyde was the isolated evil part of Jekyll’s personality. Apparently, Jekyll suffered from a substance-induced personality disorder because Hyde, apparently feeling like a prisoner, played many tricks on him in his frustration“.
“Comparing memories to episodes in Superman’s story helps me heal from life’s wounds. It opens up another perspective in dealing with things I have trouble controlling emotionally like heartbreak, loss and addiction. Accepting myself as imperfect, like Superman had to, when he felt weak, helps me realize that some things can only be changed one day at a time. And sometimes that’s all a superhero can do. It’s okay to feel pain and remorse about choices you’ve made because “Even Superman Cried” over some difficult choices he had to make.” – CRÈME
“Haunting Me” is a powerful track with an eerie mood. The organic piano, strings and choir give the song an epic flair that underlines the melodic vocal.
“The lyrics reflect the times when you’re feeling stuck in a “nightmare” and trying to get back to yourself” – Becca Krueger The instrumental for “Nightmare” was a deep, rich and very atmospheric idea with a dark and haunting vibe. A lot of elements were added to it after I got the vocals from Becca, I played around with playful elements like bells and dramatic strings to support the vocals and make everything cohesive.
As I came across the vocal for “Die To Feel Alive” I instantly felt encouraged to create. It fits my style of energetic and darker themed music perfectly. Inspired by this, I made an instrumental to match the dynamic of the vocal and build up towards a big drop, reflecting the despaired mood that the lyrics express, in an instrumental way. With the drop, I went for a back and forth between multiple different elements that interact with each other in a questions and answer type of way. “Die To Feel Alive” is a dramatic song that thematizes love and suicide. It is about grief, deep despair, pain, anger, loneliness, fear, guilt and total hopelessness. Due to the loss of a loved one, the acute crisis situation is in the foreground here. Life seems to loose its meaning and is no longer worth living. The tunnel vision describes the overlooking of possible solutions to the seemingly hopeless situation. To remain abandoned in this separation is brutally painful. Out of this massively hopeless situation, it becomes clear that the only way to feel alive again is to die.
“Demons” is a dark, energetic, trap influenced song. It stands out with playful elements, heavy guitars and unique electronic sounds.
“Witch“ is a cinematic, dark track. It tells a fairy tale like story which is underlined with an atmospheric, playfully dark instrumental.
It’s definitely something different than usual, but I really enjoy working in this style as well.
